hedSpace presents: "CLASH OF THE TITANS" - AUSTIN, JODY and RONZO - hit Brighton and go head-to-head !!!...

Following on from the success of the recent exhibition by Robert Ryan, hedSpace has invited their logo designer and
Illustrated Ape art director ( Austin at NEW ) to do battle with two other of the Ape magazine's super heavy-weights.

Austin is one of the co-founding members of NEW studio and his work has appeared on the cover of The Face (RIP)
The Guardian guide and has produced work for Dizzee Rascal. He is a lecturer at Brighton University and has featured in
the recent book Digital Illustration by the Brighton based Lawrence Zeegen.

Jody Barton has a talent for words and visuals and has self-published a wide ranging collection of crazy pamphlets.
He has also produced work for clients such as MTV, Big Issue magazineand CIDE Skate Shop. His work often features
parades of distorted and comedic grotesques - a rich dark world of both humour and paranoia. Contributions to live
painting projects such as the Matsuri series and Graffiti Meets Windows has highlighted the increasing cross-over
area between commercial art and the gallery show.

Ronzo is from a print design background but his diverse talents have involved him with corporate identity, website
production, graphic design, story-boarding and character design. He has taken part in various exhibitions from the
bottom of the German Alps to the top of Manhattan. In 2003 he was short-listed in Cannes and won a silver medal
from ADC in New York in 2004. His award winning stop motion movie "Jonny Fu" about a secret agent with a
pornographic history has been screened on German TV.
